Overview

The Mirka Abranet 3.67 in x 82 ft Grip Roll P320 is a net abrasive sanding roll for surface preparation and finish sanding across wood, metal, filler, paint, primer, and solid surface materials. This is a sanding roll designed for dust-free sanding and controlled surface finishing. Model Number: 9A-593-320. If you need a fine abrasive that keeps dust moving instead of packing into the face of the material, this is the kind of product that makes the job cleaner and the result more consistent.

What matters here is the Abranet net construction. Unlike a traditional paper abrasive that can load up quickly, the open mesh design helps extract sanding dust across the whole abrasive surface. In real use, that means less clogging, more even cutting, and less time stopping to deal with loaded abrasive. Mirka calls out a cleaner work environment and a better surface finish, and that is exactly why pros keep net abrasives around for prep work where finish quality actually counts.

The P320 grit puts this roll in a useful fine-sanding range. It is a smart choice when you are refining primer, working body filler, smoothing paint edges, sanding lacquer, or stepping through a finishing sequence on hardwoods and composites. It is not meant to hog off material fast. It is meant to clean up the surface, level it out, and leave it ready for the next stage without digging trenches or leaving an overly rough scratch pattern.

The roll format is another big plus. With a width of 3.67 inches and a total length of 82 feet, you can cut what you need instead of burning through pre-cut sheets when the size is not quite right. That makes sense in body shops, cabinet shops, remodeling work, and general finishing work where different sanding blocks, hand pads, or rectangular sanding tools may call for different lengths. The grip backing is built for use where a grip-style attachment is needed.

Material range is broad, which makes this a versatile shop consumable instead of a one-job specialty item. Source data lists steel, mild steel, stainless steel, copper alloys, cast iron, plastics, plaster, filler, primer, paint, lacquer, body filler, MDF, HDF, melamine, veneer, chipboard, hardwood, softwood, oak, ash, pine, beech, birch, teak, mahogany, and solid surface materials including Corian-compatible applications. That wide material coverage is one of the reasons Abranet has such a strong following in finishing and prep work.

If you are a painter, body tech, woodworker, cabinet installer, finish carpenter, or serious DIY user who cares about surface prep, this Mirka sanding roll makes sense. It is especially useful for users already set up for dust extraction and for anyone who is tired of abrasives loading up too early. If your goal is cleaner sanding, more usable abrasive life, and better control in fine prep work, this is the right kind of consumable to keep on the bench.

Cleaner Sanding With Less Loading

The big reason to choose Abranet is dust control. The net abrasive structure helps move sanding dust away from the work area so the abrasive stays more open and the surface stays cleaner while you work.

• Net abrasive design supports dust-free sanding
• Helps produce a cleaner work environment and better surface finish

Fine Grit For Surface Prep That Shows
